Dress Code

Players should always dress reasonably smartly, whether rolling-up
or playing in an official match. Flat soled shoes must be worn at all
times so as not to damage the playing surface. Sandals are not
permitted except in medical circumstances when a doctor’s note will
be required.
Club, League, Borough and County Matches
Men: Grey trousers, grey tailored shorts or shorts manufactured
for the sport of bowls. Club shirts. Blue club jackets, white bowls
jackets or white jumpers can be worn if required. The latter stages
of some competitions and Finals require players to wear white
trousers, white tailored shorts or white shorts manufactured for
the sport of bowls.
Ladies: As for men, although generally ladies wear whites when
playing league or County competitions. White trousers or crops or
box pleated white bowls skirts. Club shirts. Blue club jackets, white
bowls jackets or white jumpers can be worn if required.
Mixed Friendly Matches.
These matches are played in Greys or Whites and this will be
stipulated on the match notice. Club shirts to be worn.
Roll-Ups
Mufti dress can be worn but denim jeans, strappy tops, vests, mini
shorts or miniskirts are not permitted.
Wet gear should be predominantly white.
